About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as a PR Manager and take ownership of a new consumer PR programme with ambitious goals. We're looking for an experienced PR professional with a strong understanding of the national consumer media landscape to help us raise awareness of our temporary car insurance category and cement our position as a market leader.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute consumer PR campaigns that support business objectives and align with our marketing strategy.
  • Work closely with our product and commercial teams to ensure that our PR activity is integrated and effective.
  • Manage our media centre and provide an industry-leading press office service, including responding to media queries and arranging high-profile interviews.
  • Monitor industry trends and news to identify opportunities for expert commentary and thought leadership.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with consumer media, trade media, and industry influencers.
  • Provide PR support for our public affairs agenda and work with our policy and regulation team to ensure that our messaging is consistent and effective.
What We're Looking For
  • A proven track record of delivering successful consumer PR campaigns with minimal supervision.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to articulate complex topics in a consumer-friendly way.
  • A creative thinker with a strong understanding of the national consumer media landscape.
  • Ability to manage priorities and make strategic decisions.
  • Strong writing skills and the ability to work with insights, data, and third-party consumer research to support our storytelling.
