Position Overview
Work Schedule: Flexible hours based on a predetermined roster, including evenings and weekends.

The mission of Social Work Resources is to foster social welfare and deliver effective care and support tailored to the needs of vulnerable individuals in the community.
In collaboration with community planning partners, as well as voluntary and independent service providers, we offer a diverse array of services aimed at enabling, supporting, and safeguarding the health and social care of our service users.
The ideal candidate will possess experience in providing care for elderly individuals within a residential environment. Responsibilities will include overseeing and developing staff in alignment with all Council policies and procedures, such as performance evaluations, attendance management, and staff induction.
It is essential to document residents' needs in their personal care plans and conduct comprehensive risk assessments. You will engage with relevant agencies and other Council departments on behalf of service users and actively participate in various client-centered meetings.
Your role will also encompass the administration of prescribed medications to service users, preparing and presenting reports for reviews, and ensuring that staff adhere to financial management protocols as required.
Successful candidates must hold an SVQ Level 3 qualification or HNC and be actively working towards completing two units of SVQ Level 4.

Regulated Work with Vulnerable Adults:
This role is classified as Regulated Work with Vulnerable Adults under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act. It is illegal to apply if you are barred from working with vulnerable adults.
