Health and Safety Manager

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead a team of health and safety professionals to ensure compliance with local legislation and company policies.
- Analyse data reports to identify trends and root causes of safety incidents, providing actionable insights to leadership.
- Develop and implement health and safety projects and policies, ensuring a culture of safety and inclusivity across the organisation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive improvements in safety culture and reduce risk.
A Day in the Life:
This is an exciting opportunity to work at the heart of Amazon's Operations network, driving improvements in safety and efficiency. You will manage health and safety standards, improve functionality, and drive a culture of safety and inclusivity. You will also have the opportunity to work closely with your team to implement changes and improve processes.
Requirements:
- Education to a degree level and additional qualifications to an NVQ5/NEBOSH Diploma level.
- Relevant experience managing a team and complying with local Health and Safety legislation.
- Advanced proficiency in verbal and written English.
Preferred Qualifications:
Preferred qualifications are not required to apply for a position at Amazon. However, experience with Lean, 5S, and Kaizen methodologies, as well as qualifications or experience in the field of sustainability, would be beneficial. Relevant experience of communicating with a wide range of stakeholders, including your peers and leadership, is also desirable.
