Job Summary

Amazon is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Health and Safety Manager to join our team. As a key member of our Operations network, you will play a critical role in driving improvements in workplace health and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage a team of health and safety professionals to ensure compliance with local legislation and company policies.
  • Analyse data reports and root causes to provide leadership with the information needed to make informed safety-related decisions.
  • Develop and implement health and safety projects and policies to drive a culture of safety and inclusivity.
  • Drive programmes to improve the safety culture in Amazon, including the development and implementation of safety initiatives and training programmes.
About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join a fast-paced and dynamic team at the heart of Amazon's Operations network. As a Health and Safety Manager, you will have the opportunity to make a real impact on the safety and well-being of our employees and customers.

Requirements
  • Education to a degree level and additional qualifications to an NVQ5/NEBOSH Diploma level.
  • Relevant experience managing a team and complying with local Health and Safety legislation.
  • Advanced proficiency in verbal and written English.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with Lean, 5S and Kaizen methodologies.
  • Qualifications or experience in the field of sustainability.
  • Relevant experience of communicating with a wide range of stakeholders, including peers and leadership.
