Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Maths Department Leader to join our team at Tradewind Recruitment. As a key member of our education division, you will be responsible for leading the Maths department and ensuring high-quality teaching and learning.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the Maths department, developing and implementing effective strategies to improve student outcomes.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to drive whole-school improvement and support the wider school community.
  • Support students with varying levels of ability, helping them build confidence and achieve their full potential.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with teachers, staff, and parents to ensure a cohesive and supportive learning environment.

Requirements:

  • A qualified Maths teacher with a track record of success in raising standards.
  • Experience in working within an alternative provision or with students who require additional support.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders.
