Job Summary:

Chesterfield College is seeking an experienced professional to join their Digital team as a Computer Science Educator. This is an exciting opportunity to lead on the Computer Science A-Level provision and teach within the Digital department for full-time courses.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead on the Computer Science A-Level provision
  • Teach within the Digital department for full-time courses
  • Teach across a range of related courses within the Directorate
  • Act as a personal tutor to an identified number of student groups

Requirements:

  • Experience in computer science, programming, networking and infrastructure, computer hardware and software development/design
  • Strong knowledge of Visual Studio and the Unreal Engine
  • Strong computing/IT knowledge in current and emerging technologies
  • Demonstrating a range of practical competences in the computing discipline, including maths
  • Experience in teaching is essential, experience teaching various academic levels is desirable
  • Willingness to work towards a teaching qualification within the first year of employment
