About the Role
Location: SUEZ Facility
- Salary: £31,525.77 per annum
- Contracted hours: 42.5 hours per week
- Shift pattern: 8am till 5pm Monday to Friday
- Overtime as required
Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Team Leader/Heavy Equipment Operator to join our team at SUEZ. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and safe operation of our mobile plant and equipment.
Key Responsibilities
- Maximize recycling and diversion from landfill through effective operation of mobile plant and equipment.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant health and safety regulations and company policies.
- Supervise and train other team members as required.
- Monitor and report on equipment performance and maintenance needs.
- Collaborate with other departments to achieve operational goals.
Requirements
- Proven experience in mobile plant operation and maintenance.
- Strong knowledge of health and safety regulations and best practices.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- IOSH managing safety certificate or equivalent.
