Position Overview

We are seeking a Customer Experience Specialist (Sales) to become a vital part of our Customer Experience Centre within the Communications and Engagement Group.

This is a full-time role on a permanent basis. The position is based in the UK, and remote work options are available.

Our organization promotes a flexible, hybrid working model, requiring a minimum of 8 days per month on-site to foster collaboration and engagement with partners and stakeholders essential for our operations. Depending on the role's nature, this may increase to 12 days a month, with the remaining time spent working remotely or in the office.

The Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency is dedicated to enhancing public health through the effective regulation of medicines and medical devices, supported by scientific research.

The Customer Experience Centre serves as the primary contact point for inquiries directed to the agency, whether via email or phone, addressing a wide range of queries from patients, the public, industry professionals, and others.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage customer requests and inquiries from a global audience as part of the MHRA Sales team.
  • Contribute significantly to public health initiatives worldwide.
  • Engage in a dynamic role that involves supporting and collaborating with various departments within the agency.

Specific Duties Include:

  • Processing orders related to MHRA Sales (Biological & Chemical Reference Materials).
  • Addressing customer inquiries and requests efficiently.
  • Assisting team members to maximize individual contributions.
  • Collaborating with various departments and external partners to ensure an exceptional customer experience.

Candidate Profile:

  • Experience in customer service.
  • Proficient in IT, with a background in utilizing various software applications.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, capable of delivering clear and concise information tailored to the audience.
  • Ability to effectively organize tasks, manage competing priorities, meet deadlines, and consistently uphold high standards of performance.
  • Familiarity with relevant regulations, including General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), ensuring compliance with necessary standards.
