Senior New Business Sales Manager

We are on the lookout for a committed New Business/New Logo Sales Expert to join our Futures Business Unit. If you possess a strong background in securing New Logos across sectors such as Industrial Manufacturing, Mechanical Engineering, Electronics Manufacturing, the Rail Industry, Media, Agritech, or Information Technology, we would like to engage with you.
The perfect candidate will demonstrate proficiency in articulating our established value propositions to these sectors with both creativity and effectiveness.

From consultancy to in-service support, we manage the entire lifecycle, providing state-of-the-art solutions in Intelligent Sensing, Situational Awareness, and Autonomy. Job Purpose & Key Responsibilities
- Formulating, executing, and managing sales growth strategies through direct and partner sales initiatives
- Identifying, cultivating, and effectively overseeing key client relationships to maximize revenue and customer satisfaction
- Aligning sales efforts and internal innovation strategies with client priorities
- Overseeing direct and partner sales/bids/quotes in accordance with company governance protocols
- Influencing client and partner expectations and requirements
- Leading bids and engineering pre-sales teams to secure new business opportunities
- Meeting or surpassing order and revenue goals
- Managing the sales pipeline, forecasting, and budgeting
- Providing market insights to enhance the Roke CRM ecosystem
- Contributing to the strategic development of the Futures business unit
- Collaborating with marketing teams on lead generation and brand visibility
- Creating client propositions that align with market demands
Knowledge, Skills & Experience
- Proven experience in direct sales of research and development services, technical solutions, and products
- Expertise in solution selling methodologies
- Ability to build robust client relationships at senior levels with comprehensive account development strategies
- Familiarity with Autonomy, AI/ML, data science, and sensing technologies
- Entrepreneurial mindset with a strong grasp of direct and partner sales strategies
- Capability to deliver innovative solutions to business challenges
- Demonstrated success in qualifying opportunities and winning bids
- Exceptional communication and negotiation abilities
- Effectiveness in leading local and remote teams
- Strong analytical capabilities
- Willingness to travel as needed
