About the RoleAs a key member of our integrated therapy team, you will work closely with Speech and Language Therapists and Creative Art Therapists to deliver the highest standard of care and support to our pupils. Your expertise and dedication will empower our pupils to thrive and reach their full potential.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct assessments and create personalized therapy programs tailored to each pupil's unique needs
- Work within a small caseload of pupils who have neurodiverse needs, taking a Neurodiverse affirming and trauma-informed approach to clinical work
- Assess, write indirect therapy programs, provide advice and consultations, and deliver direct therapy
- Design and deliver specific training and mentoring for colleagues with the support of the Clinical Lead to further develop the Occupational Therapy offering within our specialist college
We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Occupational Therapist with a recognized post-graduate qualification in Occupational Therapy, essential qualification in Sensory Integration and Processing, and HCPC registration as an Occupational Therapist with RCOT Membership. You will also need good IT skills and a full driving license.
