Occupational Therapist

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Specialist Occupational Therapist to join our team at Phoenix Learning & Care Group. As a Specialist Occupational Therapist, you will play a vital role in identifying and addressing the strengths and challenges of our pupils, creating personalized therapy programs tailored to their unique needs.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct assessments and develop indirect therapy programs for pupils with neurodiverse needs, taking a Neurodiverse affirming and trauma-informed approach.
- Work collaboratively with the integrated therapy team, including Speech and Language Therapists and Creative Art Therapists, to deliver direct therapy and provide advice and consultations.
- Design and deliver specific training and mentoring for colleagues, with the support of the Clinical Lead, to further develop the Occupational Therapy offering within our specialist college.
- A recognized post-graduate qualification in Occupational Therapy, with an essential qualification in Sensory Integration and Processing, and HCPC registration as an Occupational Therapist with RCOT Membership.
- Significant experience as an Occupational Therapist, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality therapy programs.
- Excellent IT skills, with a working understanding of Microsoft packages like Excel, Word, Outlook, and Teams.
- A full driving license, with the ability to travel to other sites as required.
