Role Overview:

The Logistics Subject Matter Expert will play a crucial role in enhancing the efficiency of logistics operations within the organization. This position involves collaborating with various departments to ensure streamlined processes and optimal supply chain management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver comprehensive training to team members and new hires on logistics protocols.
  • Assist in the execution of Logistics RFT and performance metrics, including the completion of Quality Reviews and Corrective and Preventive Actions.
  • Engage in business enhancement initiatives across the organization to refine internal workflows and devise innovative solutions for supply chain optimization.
  • Revise existing operational procedures and develop new Standard Operating Procedures as necessary.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to identify and implement the most effective and economical logistics strategies.
  • Coordinate with relevant internal departments to ensure timely completion of order-related tasks and proactively address any issues.
  • Manage priorities related to client and internal inquiries efficiently.
  • Ensure that all order-related documentation is maintained in compliance with regulatory and project requirements.
  • Support the Logistics Team in generating all necessary shipment-specific documentation.
  • Ensure timely processing of license applications.
  • Engage in daily interactions with courier services.
  • Recommend optimal solutions for shipment logistics.
  • Collaborate with various departments to address any logistics-related inquiries.
  • Participate in client meetings as required.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by the Logistics Manager.
  • Adhere to Good Manufacturing Practices in all responsibilities.

Delivery and Cost Management:

  • Support and mentor the team in applying Lean and PPI tools to enhance process efficiencies and meet business goals.
  • Monitor, analyze, and report on critical departmental metrics.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
  • Ability to excel in a dynamic setting and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Good numerical aptitude.
  • Capability to work in various temperature conditions.
  • Familiarity with logistics is advantageous but not mandatory; comprehensive training will be provided to the right candidate.
  • A commitment to continuous professional development and a desire to expand skill sets.
