About the Role:
Ernest and Florent Ltd is seeking a highly skilled Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their team in North London. As a Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will be responsible for managing multiple projects from concept to completion, ensuring that they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously, including office fit-out projects, commercial projects, sports and leisure projects, life sciences projects, and residential projects.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, architects, engineers, and contractors to ensure that projects are delivered to the required standards.
- Prepare and manage project budgets, forecasts, and financial reports to ensure that projects are delivered within budget.
- Conduct site visits and inspections to ensure that projects are being delivered in accordance with the project plans and specifications.
- Support junior members of staff on site and in the office, providing guidance and mentorship as needed.
- Travel internationally for projects, particularly in the Middle East.
Requirements:
- BSc/MSc Quantity Surveying or RICS accredited degree.
- Ideal experience working on commercial projects.
- MRICS or currently working towards.
- Experience within a private practice or consultancy.
- Strong pre- and post-contract knowledge.
- Excellent attitude and team player.
- Capable of supporting with mentoring junior colleagues.
