Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our team at Ernest And Florent LTD. As a Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will be responsible for managing multiple projects from concept to completion, ensuring timely and within-budget delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously, overseeing all aspects of project delivery
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, architects, engineers, and contractors
  • Conduct site visits and inspections to ensure projects are progressing as planned
  • Prepare and review project reports, including progress reports, cost reports, and final accounts
  • Collaborate with the project team to identify and mitigate potential risks and issues
  • Support junior members of staff in their professional development and growth

Requirements:

  • BSc/MSc Quantity Surveying or RICS accredited degree
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in commercial quantity surveying, preferably in a private practice or consultancy
  • Strong pre- and post-contract knowledge, including contract administration and dispute resolution
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients, colleagues, and contractors
  • MRICS or currently working towards
