The Opportunity:

As an Apprentice Business Developer, you'll play a key role in providing exceptional customer service and support to our customers. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Building strong relationships with customers and identifying opportunities to increase sales and customer satisfaction.
  • Developing and maintaining up-to-date product knowledge to provide expert advice to customers.
  • Using creative marketing materials to promote Howdens products and services to new and existing customers.
  • Working closely with the sales team to generate and chase leads, and to develop long-term collaborative relationships with customers.
  • Processing sales for customers using our in-store payment systems, quoting correct pricing, delivery dates, and stock requirements.

Requirements:

We're looking for individuals with strong communication skills, the ability to build strong relationships, and a target-driven approach. You'll also need to be able to work autonomously, use your own initiative, and have excellent attention to detail.

The Apprenticeship:

As part of our apprenticeship program, you'll have the opportunity to gain a Customer Service Practitioner Level 2 - Intermediate Apprenticeship. You'll receive training and support from our in-house Learning & Development Team, as well as external training providers.
