Job Title: SCL Engineering Supervisor

Electus Recruitment Solutions is seeking a highly skilled SCL Engineering Supervisor to join our client's joint venture on the HS2 project. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the tunnel engineering aspects of the project.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Work closely with the Senior SCL Engineer to ensure the smooth execution of tunnel engineering works.
  • Record and monitor the construction team's implementation of design and agreed processes.
  • Maintain accurate records of excavation sequence, progress, and materials application.
  • Document and report on the construction team's usage of toolbox items and visually inspect applied materials.
  • Confirm compliance with RESS and record all aspects of the SCL cycle for feedback to the Senior SCL Engineer.
  • Prepare daily reports for issue to the Senior SCL Engineer, including contractor's excavation progress.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in tunnel engineering and SCL operations.
  • Strong understanding of RESS and SCL cycle.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
