Senior Engineer Opportunity at Jackson Civil Engineering

We are seeking an experienced Senior Engineer to join our dynamic team at Jackson Civil Engineering. As a Senior Engineer, you will play a key role in progressing the construction process and assisting in delivering projects.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Undertake day-to-day setting out duties with minimal supervision.
  • Manage and monitor site sample/performance testing requirements, maintaining records in line with contract specifications.
  • Complete hazard/risk assessments and method statements.
  • Assist the site QS/Project Manager in providing relevant information for records and claims purposes.
  • Develop and maintain relations with clients, suppliers, and sub-contractors.
  • Ensure all work complies with quality, safety, and environmental policies and company procedures.
Requirements:
  • Experience in heavy civils with a main contractor, including highways and structures schemes.
  • CSCS card and a suitable qualification in civil engineering (minimum HND).
  • ICE membership, SMSTS, and SSSTS.
  • First Aid at work qualification and a Degree in Civil Engineering.
  • Training in confined spaces and a full UK driving license.
