About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Team Manager to lead our Children and Families Team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing a team of social workers to deliver high-quality services to vulnerable children and families.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage a team of social workers to deliver services of the highest quality.
  • Develop and implement team plans in line with Children's Services strategic objectives.
  • Provide management oversight on all cases, ensuring statutory duties and best practice are followed.
  • Contribute to the development of the quality assurance framework and provide quality assurance through observations and reflective supervision.
  • Build positive relationships with colleagues and partner agencies to ensure effective support and protection for vulnerable children and young people.
Requirements
  • Social Work England registration.
  • A recognised qualification in Social Work.
  • Completed ASYE year (if qualified after 2012).
  • A full driving licence and willingness to drive.
  • DBS clearance.
