About the Role

Saddlers Resourcing Solutions Ltd is seeking a highly skilled Health and Safety Manager to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of health, safety, and environmental management across our operations.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Develop and implement effective health and safety policies and procedures
  2. Conduct regular risk assessments and audits to identify areas for improvement
  3. Provide training and guidance to staff on health and safety best practices
  4. Collaborate with senior management to develop and implement quality control measures
  5. Ensure compliance with relevant health and safety regulations and industry standards
  6. Develop and maintain relationships with clients and stakeholders to promote our health and safety services
  7. Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices in health and safety management

Requirements

  1. NEBOSH general certificate or equivalent as a minimum
  2. CEnv or equivalent as a minimum
  3. IOSH and IEMA certifications an advantage
  4. Proven experience in a health and safety role, preferably in the civils or rail sector
  5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  6. Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  7. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  8. Proficient in MS Office and other relevant software
