Job Title: General Teaching Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate individual to join our team as a General Teaching Assistant. This is a part-time position, working 17.5 hours per week, with a fixed term contract until August 2025.

About the Role:

This role involves providing pastoral and educational support to a pupil with Special Educational Needs (SEN) every morning, working closely with the class teacher and SENDCo to deliver provision for this child. In the afternoons, you will provide nurture and pastoral support to children across Key Stage 2.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide individualized support to a pupil with SEN
  • Work collaboratively with the class teacher and SENDCo to deliver provision for the pupil
  • Provide nurture and pastoral support to children across Key Stage 2
  • Contribute to a positive and inclusive learning environment
Requirements:

We are looking for an individual who is passionate about supporting children with SEN and has excellent communication and interpersonal skills. You will be working in a fast-paced environment and will need to be able to prioritize tasks and manage your time effectively.
