Role Overview
This role is focused on account management of existing on-trade customers, whilst winning and developing new accounts, in line with our strategy to grow the beer and cider category in the UK.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and develop relationships with existing Independent Free Trade customers.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the on-trade sector.
- Develop and implement account plans to drive growth and protect market share.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Lead and execute key activations and brand activities.
- Take ownership of territory, volume, and financial performance.
Requirements
- Strong work ethic, persistence, and resilience, with a commitment to career development.
- Exceptional local market knowledge, contacts, and experience in the beer or similar industry.
- Demonstrates ownership, taking personal responsibility for results, and leading by example.
- Builds excellent relationships with customers, consumers, and internal/external stakeholders.
- Preference for previous sales experience.
- Effective communication skills and the ability to manage and cultivate relationships.
- Proficient in negotiation, and objection handling, and demonstrates commercial acumen.
- Confident in written and spoken English, with knowledge of commercial mathematics.
- Time and workload management skills to optimize effectiveness and efficiency.
