Role Overview

This role is focused on account management of existing on-trade customers, whilst winning and developing new accounts, in line with our strategy to grow the beer and cider category in the UK.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and develop relationships with existing Independent Free Trade customers.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the on-trade sector.
  • Develop and implement account plans to drive growth and protect market share.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Lead and execute key activations and brand activities.
  • Take ownership of territory, volume, and financial performance.

Requirements

  • Strong work ethic, persistence, and resilience, with a commitment to career development.
  • Exceptional local market knowledge, contacts, and experience in the beer or similar industry.
  • Demonstrates ownership, taking personal responsibility for results, and leading by example.
  • Builds excellent relationships with customers, consumers, and internal/external stakeholders.
  • Preference for previous sales experience.
  • Effective communication skills and the ability to manage and cultivate relationships.
  • Proficient in negotiation, and objection handling, and demonstrates commercial acumen.
  • Confident in written and spoken English, with knowledge of commercial mathematics.
  • Time and workload management skills to optimize effectiveness and efficiency.
