We are seeking an experienced Engineering Technician to join our Utilities and Facilities team at GSK's Ware Site. As an Engineering Technician, you will play a critical role in supporting the maintenance and repair of our manufacturing equipment and processes.
Key Responsibilities- Perform routine maintenance and repair activities on utilities equipment
- Conduct fault finding, problem solving, and breakdown resolution
- Calibrate critical process and utility equipment
- Routine testing of HVAC systems, including air quality
- Continuous improvement of production and utilities equipment and processes
- Completion of statutory inspections, such as ATEX, zero access, and LOTO
- Liaise with cross-functional teams, including Quality, Validation, and Site Operations
- Participate in project work, including commissioning and installing new equipment
- Relevant engineering qualifications and/or experience
- Good standard of numeracy and literacy
- Willingness to learn and take personal accountability for tasks
- Good verbal, written, and computer communication skills
- Ability to work within a team and follow standard processes
