As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care to individuals with mental health conditions, building therapeutic relationships, and managing specific symptoms of mental illness.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide care to individuals with a variety of mental health conditions, building therapeutic relationships.
- Manage the specific symptoms of mental illness, de-escalation, and helping patients overcome challenges.
- Liaise with doctors, social workers, and other professionals.
- Interact with patients' families and caregivers, offering advice and information on patients' conditions.
- Prepare and maintain patient records, producing care plans and risk assessments.
- Provide high-quality, evidence-based nursing care.
- Lead a staff team, including HCA's, throughout the patient conveyance or therapeutic observational service.
- Registered Mental Health Nurse with a valid NMC pin and a minimum of 1 year of relevant experience within a mental health setting.
- Full UK Driving License.
- Current Valid NMC Pin.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and focus on accuracy.
- Up to date Enhanced DBS.
- Up to date Right to work in the UK.
