About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Mental Health Nurse at one of our Adult Inpatient units in Birmingham. As a Mental Health Nurse with NHS Professionals, you will be working in a dynamic and supportive environment, providing high-quality care to patients with mental health needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide safe and effective nursing care to patients with mental health needs
  • Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care for patients
  • Provide crisis intervention and support to patients experiencing mental health difficulties
  • Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with patients, families, and colleagues

Requirements

  • Registered Mental Health Nurse qualification and NMC registration
  • Minimum 6 months paid experience in a Mental Health Hospital environment within the UK within the last 3 years
  • Restraint and ILS Training completed within the last 12 months
  • Working knowledge of local and national policies and legislation that govern current service provision
