The Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Deputy Manager to lead our dual diagnosis service for addiction and mental health. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for supporting the General Manager in the day-to-day operations, deputising in their absence, and overseeing the direct supervision and line management of the team.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure the highest standards of care are maintained, promoting the well-being and dignity of our clients.
- Develop and implement effective strategies to improve service delivery, quality, and governance.
- Lead and manage a team of care professionals, providing guidance, support, and coaching to ensure excellent care outcomes.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, families, and stakeholders, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
- Monitor and evaluate service performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes as necessary.
Requirements
- Proven experience in mental health service provision and team management.
- Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients, families, and stakeholders.
- Knowledge of regulatory and statutory requirements, with the ability to ensure compliance.
- NVQ Level 5 in Health and Social Care or equivalent.
