Care Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Care Assistant to join our Meallmore team at Manor Care Centre. As a Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to our residents, promoting their wellbeing and independence.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver person-centred care and support to residents, in accordance with their individual care plans.
- Contribute to creating a positive and supportive care environment, engaging in activities and promoting resident participation.
- Adhere to Meallmore's standards, policies, and procedures, as well as national care standards.
- Collaborate with care staff and wider teams to ensure seamless care delivery.
- Perform personal care duties, including assisting with daily living tasks.
- Working towards SSSC registration requirements.
- SVQ level 2 or above/equivalent in Health and Social Care (as per SSSC guidelines).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A kind and caring nature.
- Competitive hourly rate: £12.00-£12.10 per hour, plus overtime rates.
