The Telecommunications Systems Specialist at University Hospitals of Northamptonshire NHS Group will play a key role within the Unified Communications team, responsible for overseeing and supporting the Group's telecommunications and network services, which encompass mobile and cloud solutions. You will ensure a secure, resilient, and scalable infrastructure as part of the Trust's Electronic Patient Record (EPR) initiative. Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be tasked with:

  • Maintaining, securing, and documenting all Unified Communications components, ensuring they are monitored and updated regularly.
  • Providing senior-level support within the Unified Communications team, assisting with ICT projects related to telecommunications.
  • Managing and supporting Avaya telecommunications platforms and vendor-neutral network services, including on-premises, mobile, remote, and cloud services, as well as radio-paging systems.
  • Overseeing the management of the Group's mobile phone assets, including the Mobile Device Management (MDM) platform and clinical mobile devices.
  • Ensuring the availability of secure, stable, resilient, and scalable telecommunications services across the Group and its satellite locations.

Travel to various hospital sites may be necessary.
