Purchase Ledger Assistant Job Description

We are partnering with a reputable not-for-profit organisation in East Coventry to appoint a Purchase Ledger Assistant on a 16-week contract.

This part-time position (20 hours per week) is due to start as soon as possible.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Inputting invoices, expenses claims, and credit notes into the purchase ledger
  • Maintaining purchase order processing in line with budget
  • Checking invoices and expenses claims to ensure goods have correct POs
  • Resolving any PO and payment queries
  • Preparing BACS payment runs
  • Reconciling the purchase ledger control account
  • Inputting new suppliers

Requirements:

  • Knowledge of the full purchase ledger process
  • Strong working experience of Excel
  • Confident working with internal stakeholders
  • Ability to prioritise and work to deadlines
