Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Hydraulic Fitter Specialist to join our team at AMETEK MRO. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for disassembling and inspecting hydraulic and mechanical components, ensuring high-quality standards are met.

Key Responsibilities

  • Disassemble hydraulic and mechanical components to sub-components for inspection and testing
  • Conduct thorough inspections, including fault diagnosis, wear, damage, and corrosion analysis
  • Assemble components from technical data, ensuring accuracy and quality
  • Support test bay engineers in testing hydraulic and pneumatic units, populating test reports
  • Maintain and implement standard operating practices and procedures
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards, quality requirements, and regulatory guidelines

Requirements

  • Background in mechanical or hydraulic engineering
  • Numerate and literate, with a high level of numeracy and literacy required
  • Ability to work to tight deadlines, maintaining quality and compliance
  • Strong analytical, administrative, and organizational skills
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
