Position Overview

As a Managing Director, Corporate FX at StoneX, you will lead our FX sales & trading operations within the corporate sector. This role demands a dual focus on both sales and trading, requiring you to develop and implement complex hedging strategies while building and maintaining strong client relationships.

Responsibilities

  • Client Acquisition: Proactively identify and target potential mid-to-large clients by analyzing market trends and leveraging industry contacts.
  • Client Consultation: Engage with clients to understand their specific FX hedging needs and requirements.
  • Strategy Development: Construct and execute sophisticated hedging strategies that align with client risk profiles and trading objectives.
  • Trade Execution & Sales: Execute FX trades efficiently while maintaining a strong sales approach to ensure client satisfaction and portfolio growth.
  • Relationship Management: Cultivate lasting relationships with new and existing clients, ensuring their trading needs are met with the highest standard of service.
  • Market Analysis: Stay abreast of market trends and developments to identify opportunities and mitigate risks for clients.

Qualifications

  • Several years of experience on an FX trading desk at a bank or large financial institution, with a subsequent transition into a sales-oriented role.
  • Exceptional ability to balance sales and trading tasks, demonstrating expertise in negotiating and closing deals while managing complex trades.
  • Strong communication and client service skills, capable of effectively managing client expectations and building professional relationships.
  • Robust analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to devise and implement complex trading strategies based on client needs and market conditions.
