HR Operations Leader

The HR Operations Leader will report directly to the Senior HR Manager and will be tasked with the formulation and execution of strategies aimed at enhancing employee attendance and overall health and wellbeing within the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the Senior HR Manager to devise and implement comprehensive strategies to boost attendance across the organization.
- Engage with Health and Wellbeing Groups to create and execute the Health and Wellbeing Action Plan, ensuring alignment with relevant workforce strategies.
- Adopt a comprehensive approach to attendance management, introducing preventative measures to address high absence rates, particularly focusing on mental health and physical wellbeing.
- Oversee the Attendance Management function, ensuring the delivery of high-quality services that meet organizational standards and deadlines.
- Work with management to establish absence targets and proactively address attendance issues through timely interventions.
- Provide expert guidance to managers regarding attendance matters, ensuring compliance with organizational policies and best practices.
- Design and implement a robust training program for staff and managers on attendance management and health initiatives.
- Continuously enhance the organization’s Health and Wellbeing Strategy, ensuring it aligns with legislative requirements and promotes a healthy work-life balance.
- Participate in the evaluation and development of health and wellbeing initiatives, ensuring effective use of allocated budgets.
- Assess the effectiveness of health and wellbeing programs and their impact on attendance metrics.
- Research and identify new health and wellbeing initiatives that could benefit staff.
- Engage with regional networks and external organizations to foster health and wellbeing initiatives, positioning the organization as an employer of choice.
- Ensure the provision of accurate absence data to support strategic decision-making and performance management.
- Prepare high-quality reports for organizational leadership, ensuring data accuracy and relevance.
- Respond to information requests as necessary, ensuring compliance with established timelines.
Essential Qualifications:
Applicants must possess a relevant degree or professional qualification and have substantial HR experience in a complex organizational setting. Candidates should demonstrate:
- Experience in analyzing information and providing strategic HR guidance.
- A proven track record in developing HR policies and protocols.
- Experience in leading HR initiatives related to organizational change.
- Strong communication skills, including report writing and presentation abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
This role is pivotal in shaping the HR landscape and enhancing employee engagement through effective attendance and wellbeing strategies.
