The Role
Proofpoint is seeking a detail-oriented and organized HR Business Partner to join our People Services team. In this role, you will play a vital part in supporting senior and executive HRBPs by providing operational and administrative support, ensuring the effective execution of HR initiatives. This position requires strong organizational skills, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
Your Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary HR contact for employees at the designated location/site.
- Address tier 2 and tier 3 HR inquiries and escalations, encompassing employee relations issues, performance management, and policy interpretations.
- Provide guidance and solutions on complex HR matters, collaborating with HR specialists and management as needed.
- Conduct investigations into employee concerns, compile findings, and recommend appropriate actions in accordance with company policies and legal requirements.
- Collaborate with HR Centers of Excellence (COEs) to implement compensation, benefits, and employee relations programs that enhance employee engagement and organizational effectiveness.
- Work alongside HR leadership to execute local HR policies, procedures, and initiatives that align with corporate standards and practices.
- Assist with HR initiatives and projects, including training programs, employee engagement surveys, and compliance activities, contributing to the overall success of the People Services team.
Qualifications
- Stay informed about local labor laws, internal and external regulations, statutory obligations, and protocols.
- Experience in a dynamic, fast-paced environment characterized by continuous change.
- Strong skills in stakeholder collaboration, along with effective communication and influencing capabilities.
- HR background with a focus on employee relations and HR operations.
- Highly organized, capable of multitasking and prioritizing effectively.
- Proficiency in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and HR information systems.
- Embrace a growth-oriented mindset, prioritizing ongoing self-improvement.
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related fields.
- Maintain confidentiality and manage sensitive information with professionalism.
