About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Contract Costing Quality Assurance Manager to join our team at dnata Catering UK. As a key member of our commercial team, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our pricing and contract management processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Align with specific airline customers to manage their contract pricing and ensure compliance with commercial and contractual frameworks.
  • Create pricing worksheets and price summary documents to gross profit level, including all supporting data.
  • Review and validate master price lists to ensure accuracy and provide detailed explanations for cost variances.
  • Monitor and investigate GP movement within pricing terms, providing detailed reports to senior management as required.
  • Support the Sales team during tenders and menu presentations, ensuring customer pricing expectations are met while maintaining agreed margins or contractual pricing terms.
  • Work with the finance team to ensure accurate billing, reviewing invoices at the start of a cycle/menu change to establish correct data and monitoring on an ad-hoc basis.
  • Support the tender process, working alongside the Sales team to prepare and complete required documentation within allocated timeframes.
  • Manage a team of Analysts and Lead Analysts, overseeing output and workload, and managing performance in line with departmental KPIs.
  • Set SMART objectives and manage performance via regular one-to-ones, developing a succession plan for your team.
  • Support the recruitment process and training.
  • Maintain a clean and accurate data system, ensuring audit trails for all documents.
  • Ensure ad-hoc and VIP flight information is completed, and prices are issued in an accurate and timely manner to enable invoicing to meet the company accounting period.
Requirements
  • Detailed understanding of food and food production methods.
  • Advanced Excel and Word skills.
  • Ability to adapt to different databases, including our in-house system.
  • Financial awareness and understanding of pricing policies, including food cost and labor values.
  • Commercial and contractual excellence.
  • High level of analytical and numerical skills, including attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to work under pressure.
  • Excellent planning and organizing skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, management, and teamwork skills.
