Area Relief Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Area Relief Supervisor to join our Tarmac Readymix team based in London. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for managing and overseeing the RMX operations on our plants, ensuring the highest standards of safety, quality, and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead and supervise the RMX operational teams, delivering toolbox talks and ensuring compliance with business policies and procedures.
- Manage all aspects of daily production, including operational costs, stock control, and efficient manufacture of concrete.
- Drive operational performance through KPIs, identifying and implementing site and process improvements.
- Effectively coach and performance manage direct reports, ensuring timely resolution of queries and maintaining site housekeeping to a high standard.
- Batch concrete to meet customer needs while meeting internal quality requirements, and manage budgets for fixed and variable costs.
- Experience in Readymix plant operations at a supervisory level, with a strong understanding of production processes and H&S policies.
- Previous experience in an Asphalt/Aggregates environment would be highly beneficial.
- Knowledge of Risk Assessments and Safe System of Work Systems, with a working knowledge of H&S and Environmental policies.
- IOSH Managing Safely or NVQ in fixed and mobile plant operations would be desirable.
