A proficient French-speaking Events Organizer is sought to develop conferences, incentive programs, and event itineraries for French corporate clients. This role is within a destination management firm that operates in the vibrant Scottish cities.
This position is ideal for an individual residing in Scotland who is willing to travel to the city area a few times weekly. Candidates should possess fluency in French and have experience in events, conferences, or tour management to thrive in this supportive DMC environment.
Key Responsibilities as a Bilingual Events Organizer:
- Design and curate customized programs for corporate groups from France, including events, conferences, and incentive trips.
- Foster relationships with French event companies and local vendors. - Oversee the planning and execution of events, tours, or conferences for groups ranging from 4 to 50, ensuring a premium Scottish experience for clients from inception to completion.
- Create engaging and visually appealing PowerPoint presentations for clients. - Utilize Excel for detailed budgeting. - Conduct site inspections and manage groups throughout Scotland.
Requirements for the Bilingual Events Organizer:- Fluency in both French and English (spoken, written, and reading). - Experience in marketing products, tours, events, or conferences. - Ability to manage suppliers and clients while simultaneously developing itineraries, often under tight deadlines. - Strong attention to detail and a positive, proactive attitude, capable of crafting memorable experiences for clients.
- A keen interest in Scottish culture and knowledge of 'authentic Scotland' is essential.
Additional Information:- Competitive salary based on experience. - Standard working hours are Monday to Friday, 9 am to 6 pm. - Compensation structure includes 13 payments per year.
