About the Role

Huddle Search is seeking an experienced and dynamic leader to fill the position of Head of Retail Business Systems on behalf of our client, a global food and beverage chain. This leadership role will be pivotal in shaping and executing the retail technology strategy, ensuring that both front and back-of-house systems are innovative, reliable, and aligned with the company's strategic goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and Execute Retail Technology Strategy: Ensure the retail technology strategy aligns with the company's overall objectives and drives business growth.
  • Lead Innovation in Retail Technology: Mentor and guide a team of skilled professionals to deliver cutting-edge solutions that enhance operational efficiency and customer experience.
  • Manage Retail Systems Portfolio: Oversee the portfolio of retail systems, from point-of-sale to back-of-house operations, ensuring they deliver value and reliability.
  • Stay Ahead of Industry Trends: Integrate new and emerging technologies into the company's technology roadmap to stay competitive.
  • Oversee Vendor Relationships: Ensure cost-effective and high-quality service delivery from vendors.
Requirements
  • Extensive Experience in Retail Technology: Ideally within a multi-site, franchise-based environment.
  • Strong Expertise in Managing Retail Ecosystems: Including point-of-sale systems, digital commerce, and customer loyalty programs.
  • In-Depth Knowledge of the Food and Beverage Industry: With an understanding of how technology can drive competitive advantage.
  • Familiarity with IT Service Management (ITSM) and Agile Methodologies: To effectively manage and deliver retail technology solutions.
