We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Clinical Educator to join our team at North Cumbria Integrated Care NHS Foundation Trust. As a Clinical Educator, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the provision of education and training to staff and learners working in gastroenterology and endoscopy services.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and deliver clinical education programmes to support the acquisition of new skills and knowledge.
- Promote a culture of learning and development, encouraging staff to take ownership of their professional growth.
- Collaborate with clinical team leads to identify education and training needs, and develop targeted solutions.
- Provide governance and oversight of mandatory and specialty-specific education and training, including preceptorship.
- Lead on the development, delivery, and evaluation of multi-professional learning programmes.
- Ensure the delivery of local induction for new staff, and provide competency-based clinical skills assessment and feedback.
- Support career development through career conversations, coaching, and guidance.
- Identify potential continued professional development (CPD) opportunities and support individuals and teams to access these.
