Job Title: Activities Coordinator

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Activities Coordinator to join our team at Methodist Homes. As an Activities Coordinator, you will be responsible for planning and delivering a range of activities for our residents, designed to promote social interaction, engagement, and overall well-being.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a programme of activities that cater to the diverse needs and interests of our residents
  • Collaborate with the senior team to identify and address social care needs and preferences
  • Design and deliver group activities that promote social interaction, cognitive stimulation, and emotional well-being
  • Maintain accurate records of resident participation and activity outcomes
  • Contribute to the development of a positive and inclusive community environment

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in activity coordination or a related field
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Flexibility to work varied hours, including weekends
