Project Planning Project Management Coordinator

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Project Planning Project Management Coordinator to join our team at Obscurant Recruitment Solutions Ltd. As a key member of our project management office, you will play a crucial role in supporting the operations and project manager to deliver project deliverables, improve efficiency, and adoption of official frameworks and standards under project management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and drive change via the adoption of MS Teams, SharePoint, and OneDrive relating to project management and cross-functional business processes.
  • Ensure the smooth transition for the projects team and embrace a new ERP system, Epicor Kinetic.
  • Support remote project managers and the project team with new and existing orders and maintain the master specification and project initiation documentation.
  • Maintain project documentation and ensure communication is kept between all parties.
  • Assist the project manager and on-site team members to ensure continued success while the team are installing machinery at the customer's site.
  • Consult with supply chain to ensure timely dispatch date progress and coordinate with the various departments in engineering, purchasing, finance, and HR.
  • Organise and track critical product shipments worldwide.
  • Assist the operations manager in driving change and adoption of critical technology such as MS Teams, OneDrive, SharePoint, and other support project tools.
  • Support the department and technical leads in adopting the new ERP System and setting the projects up for success from initiation.
  • Support the operations manager to develop and grow the service and support and after sales offering and restructuring of how to oversee this aspect of the business internally.

Requirements:

  • Degree educated in Business Management, Project Management, or Engineering, or be qualified by experience with at least 1-3 years' experience working in a related industry or position.
  • Good understanding of project management methodologies and tools, such as Prince2, Agile, Scrum, or Waterfall, to plan, execute, and monitor projects effectively.
  • Understanding of engineering and manufacturing processes to comprehend project requirements and effectively coordinate with technical teams.
  • Ability to lead and take control and manage multiple tasks.

What We Offer:

Basic salary up to £45,000 depending on experience plus excellent benefits.
