About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Centre Director to lead our Surrey International Study Centre. As a key member of our senior leadership team, you will be responsible for driving the centre's strategic direction, ensuring exceptional student outcomes, and fostering a culture of excellence and innovation.

The successful candidate will have a proven track record of leadership and management in the education sector, with a strong understanding of the international student environment. You will be responsible for overseeing the centre's operations, managing the senior centre leadership team, and ensuring compliance with regulatory obligations.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Developing and implementing the centre's strategic plan, aligned with Study Group's global objectives
  • Leading the senior centre leadership team to achieve exceptional student outcomes and growth
  • Ensuring the delivery of high-quality teaching, learning opportunities, and academic standards
  • Managing the centre's finances, resources, and infrastructure to achieve efficient and profitable operations
  • Safeguarding students and ensuring the health and safety of all individuals on site
  • Recruiting and developing high-calibre staff, ensuring adherence to safeguarding and hiring compliance
  • Managing the partnership with the university, including senior management, academics, and student and estates departments
  • Growing revenue for the centre through collaboration with university and Study Group sales and marketing teams

About You

We are looking for a candidate with:

  • A Bachelor's degree – Essential
  • Leadership and/or management training or demonstratable experience of leading an organisation of similar size and complexity for a minimum of 3 years
  • Experience leading in an academic environment, planning and running complex education courses and programmes
  • Commercial account management and stakeholder management in complex environments
  • Partnership working and/or partnership management in the education sector
  • Understanding of the International Student environment and teaching in UK higher or further education
