We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Centre Director to lead our team and drive the success of our international student programmes. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to achieve exceptional student outcomes, increase student numbers, and generate business opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the centre strategy to deliver exceptional student outcomes and increase student numbers.
  • Manage the Senior Centre Leadership Team and ensure effective leadership and management of the team.
  • Oversight of excellent teaching, learning opportunities, academic standards, and student outcomes.
  • Delivery of an efficient and profitable operation in the centre.
  • Safeguarding of students and the health and safety of all people on site.
  • Leading the wider ISC team to ensure consistent, effective, and compassionate leadership.
  • Measuring and tracking people's contribution to company objectives and developing their potential.
  • Encouraging adherence to diversity, inclusion, and belonging in everything we do.
  • Creating an environment that attracts and retains top talent.
  • Recruiting the highest calibre of people and ensuring adherence to safeguarding and hiring compliance.
  • Manage all aspects of the partnership with the university, including senior management, academics, student and estates departments, and the university registry.
  • Grow revenue for the centre by working closely with university and Study Group sales & marketing teams.
  • Oversee and manage the partnership account for all products and solutions contracted with the university.
  • Ensure the Partnership Development Plan is on cost and to budget, collaborating with central teams.
  • Maximise profit by running the centre efficiently and identifying opportunities for new products and solutions.
About You

We are looking for a highly experienced and skilled individual with a strong background in leadership and management. You will have a Bachelor's degree and at least 3 years of experience in leading an organisation of similar size and complexity. You will also have experience in planning and running complex education courses and programmes, developing annual budgets, and managing finances against an agreed budget.

Desirable Skills and Experience:

  • Leadership and/or management training or demonstratable experience of leading an organisation of similar size and complexity.
  • Leading in an academic environment.
  • Planning and running complex education courses and programmes.

  • Commercial account management.
  • Stakeholder management and engagement in complex environments.
  • Partnership working and/or partnership management in the education sector.
  • Running of involvement in projects in an education setting.
  • Leading teams in a regulated environment, ensuring compliance.
  • Understanding of the International Student environment.
  • Teaching in UK higher or further education and/or teaching international students.
  • Leading and facilitating change.
  • Leading and/or working in digitally enabled environments.
