Aviation Security Role

We are seeking a skilled Aviation Security Officer to join our team at Manchester Airport and surrounding areas. This part-time permanent position offers 20 hours of work per week at a competitive rate of £60 per hour. Flexible hours are available, working between various shifts.

Key Responsibilities

As an Aviation Security Officer, you will be responsible for presenting a professional and visible security presence at our clients' premises. Your duties will include:

  1. Conducting thorough bag and body searches
  2. Providing plane guarding services
  3. Carrying out aircraft searches in accordance with DfT/CAA regulations
  4. Ensuring compliance with local operating procedures

You will also be required to use and maintain company/customer equipment as needed.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must:

  1. Have an unrestricted right to work full-time in the UK for a minimum period of 12 months
  2. Be fluent in spoken and written English
  3. Be able to pass all required training
  4. Have a five-year checkable employment history or provide documentary evidence of any period of unemployment, self-employment, or full and part-time education during that period
  5. Meet physical requirements, including being able to stand for extended periods and work in outdoor weather environments
