Job Title: Aviation Security Officer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Aviation Security Officer to join our team at Manchester Airport and surrounding areas.

About the Role

As an Aviation Security Officer, you will be responsible for presenting a smart, alert, visible, and commanding security presence at the premises of our clients. Your duties will include:

  1. Conducting bag and body searches
  2. Providing plane guarding services
  3. Performing aircraft searches in accordance with DfT/CAA regulations
  4. Ensuring compliance with local operating procedures

You will also be required to use and maintain company/customer equipment as and when supplied.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must have:

  1. Unrestricted right to work full time in the UK for a minimum period of 12 months
  2. Fluent spoken and written English
  3. Ability to pass all required training
  4. Five year checkable employment history or documentary evidence of any period of unemployment, self-employment, or full and part-time education during that period
  5. Physical requirements include being able to be on your feet for extended periods of time, plus being able to work in outdoor weather environments
