Job Title: Aviation Security Officer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Aviation Security Officer to join our team at Manchester Airport and surrounding areas.

About the Role

This is a part-time permanent position, working 20 hours per week, with a competitive hourly rate of £60. The successful candidate will be required to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.

Key Responsibilities

  • Present a professional and visible security presence at all times
  • Perform aviation security tasks, including bag and body searches, plane guarding, and aircraft searches in accordance with DfT/CAA regulations
  • Use and maintain company/customer equipment as required

Requirements

  • Unrestricted right to work in the UK for a minimum period of 12 months
  • Fluent spoken and written English
  • Ability to pass all required training
  • Five year checkable employment history or documentary evidence of any period of unemployment, self-employment, or full and part-time education
  • Physical requirements include being able to work on feet for extended periods and in outdoor weather environments
