We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Aviation Security Officer to join our team at Manchester Airport. As an Aviation Security Officer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety and security of our customers and staff.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver exceptional customer service and aviation security to all customers.
  • Protect aircraft, conduct searches, and ensure the security of passengers and baggage.
  • Report all security incidents and concerns to the security supervisor.
  • Work collaboratively with team members and other airport and airline colleagues.
  • Comply with training, security regulations, and company policies and procedures.
  • Work safely at all times and adhere to company safety standards.
  • Act professionally, dress smartly, and maintain excellent timekeeping.
  • Complete any reasonable tasks required by the company or line manager.
Requirements:
  • Unrestricted right to work full-time in the UK for a minimum period of 12 months.
  • Must be a UK resident for the last 3 years.
  • Fluent in spoken and written English.
  • Good customer service and communication skills.
  • Must be able to pass the CRC check and all required training.
  • Have a five-year checkable employment history or be able to produce documentary evidence of any period of unemployment, self-employment, or full and part-time education during that period.
  • Physical requirements include being able to be on their feet for extended periods and working in outdoor weather environments.
