Job Title: Aviation Security Officer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Aviation Security Officer to join our team at Manchester Airport and surrounding areas.

About the Role

This is a part-time permanent position, working 20 hours per week, with a competitive hourly rate of £60. The successful candidate will be required to work flexible hours, between [insert times], and will be expected to present a smart, alert, visible, and commanding security presence at all times.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Conduct bag and body searches
  2. Provide plane guarding services
  3. Perform aircraft searches in accordance with DfT/CAA regulations
  4. Adhere to local operating procedures

The successful candidate will also be required to use and maintain company/customer equipment as and when supplied.

Requirements

  1. Unrestricted right to work full-time in the UK for a minimum period of 12 months
  2. Fluent spoken and written English
  3. Ability to pass all required training
  4. Five-year checkable employment history or documentary evidence of any period of unemployment, self-employment, or full and part-time education during that period
  5. Physical requirements include being able to be on their feet for extended periods and working in outdoor weather environments
