We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cargo Security Screener to join our expanding team in Manchester. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the security and integrity of air cargo.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough security screenings of air cargo to detect and prevent the transportation of prohibited items.
  • Work closely with our team to ensure seamless operations and maintain high levels of security and compliance.
  • Collaborate with explosive detection dogs and X-ray screening equipment to detect and prevent the transportation of explosives.
  • Develop and maintain a strong understanding of aviation security regulations and procedures.
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay up-to-date with the latest security protocols and technologies.

Requirements:

  • AVSEC training and certification.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in air cargo security or a related field.
  • Experience working with X-ray screening and ETD systems.
  • Ability to work night shifts, including weekends and holidays.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
