Job Description

**Job Summary**

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Nurse Specialist to join our Breast Team as a key member of our multidisciplinary team. As a Clinical Nurse Specialist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality specialist nursing care to patients with breast disease throughout the patient pathway and entire disease trajectory.

Key Responsibilities

  • **Provide Expert Clinical Leadership**: Work autonomously using expert clinical judgment and knowledge to provide informational and psychological care to patients and their families in conjunction with the multidisciplinary teams in acute care, primary care, and tertiary care providers.
  • **Develop and Implement Care Plans**: Assist with all aspects of breast care provision in association with the multidisciplinary team (MDT) and act as a nursing resource and provide clinical leadership and expertise as a Specialist Nurse concerning breast cancer and function at an expert level.
  • **Collaborate with Multidisciplinary Teams**: Participate in providing high-quality specialist nursing care to patients with breast disease throughout the patient pathway and entire disease trajectory, and work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care delivery.
  • **Contribute to Quality Improvement**: Contribute to the development and implementation of quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and outcomes, and participate in quality assurance activities to ensure high standards of nursing care are maintained.
