We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Nurse Specialist to join our Breast Team at the Royal Devon University Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality specialist nursing care to patients with breast disease.
Main Responsibilities- Provide expert clinical leadership and guidance to the Breast Care Nursing team, ensuring the delivery of high standards of nursing care to patients throughout the patient pathway and disease trajectory.
- Work autonomously, using expert clinical judgment and knowledge to provide informational and psychological care to patients and their families, in conjunction with the multidisciplinary teams in acute care, primary care, and tertiary care providers.
- Assist with all aspects of breast care provision, in association with the multidisciplinary team (MDT), to ensure seamless care delivery and optimal patient outcomes.
- Act as a nursing resource and provide clinical leadership and expertise as a Specialist Nurse concerning breast cancer, functioning at an expert level.
