Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Part Qualified Practice Accountant to join our team at Edwards & Pearce. As a Part Qualified Practice Accountant, you will be responsible for providing high-quality accounting services to our clients, including financial statement preparation, tax computations, and audit support.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
  • Perform tax computations and ensure compliance with relevant tax laws and regulations
  • Assist with audit support, including gathering and analyzing financial data
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their business needs and providing tailored accounting solutions
  • Stay up-to-date with changes in accounting standards and regulations, applying this knowledge to improve our services

Requirements:

  • Part Qualified Accountant (AAT or equivalent) with 2-3 years of experience in a practice environment
  • Strong working knowledge of accounting software, including financial statement preparation and tax computations
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong attention to detail and organizational skills
